Symposium: Licht op Italië (2)

5 Mar

On April 1st, the Radboud University Nijmegen will host the second Licht op Italië (Light on Italy) symposium.

Licht op Italië (Light on Italy) is an annual symposium (spread over 2 non-consecutive days) organized by the different Art History programmes in The Netherlands and the two research institutes in Italy (NIKI in Florence and KNIR in Rome). At the symposium, Dutch scholars specializing in Italian art and architecture present the results of their recent or ongoing research. This second day of the 2011 edition, focusing on Italian art, will include talks on Lucas van Leyden (Paul van den Akker) and traces of Michelangelo in the Teylers Museum (Jeroen Stumpel).
