New Opportunities in February

Students who are looking to continue their academic careers can now apply to the doctoral programme in Art History at the University of Zurich. The submission deadline is March 31st, and you can find more information on the Fellowships page.


Not quite ready for a Phd but looking to get some experience in the world of editing and publishing? The Dutch Art Institute has some interesting internships lined up, working with students of ArtEZ on a number of artists’ publications. See Internships or contact Rebecca Sakoun ( for more information. Act quickly, because the application deadline is February 15th.


This June, the Studio Tommaseo in Trieste will host the Trieste Contemporanea Seminar on Art History. The seminar is aimed at young European students and researchers under 35 and offers them the opportunity to share their research work with a group of young scholars of different provenance and to verify work methods, with the supervision of an international team of professors and professionals in the field of contemporary art. Students are invited to send in abstracts and full papers by March 1st. Eight papers will be selected.
